Oversized Folders
All folders are oversized in order to accommodate standard sized paperwork. For example, an A4 folder isn’t A4 in size, it’s slightly larger to take A4 sheets. An A5 Folder works exactly the same way. There’s no need to stick to A sizes though, if you really want your folder to stand out in a pile of folders, then go for a bespoke size and shape – just remember the paperwork still needs to ‘work’ to this size inside.
Capacity Folders
If you have more than 5 sheets to hand over, then choose a capacity folder. This adds a spine to the folder and pocket usually in 3.5 or 10mm widths to give your folder a larger capacity to take far more sheets and/or a brochure. How about combining a Brochure and a folder in one? (Ask for more details.) Go for a heavier weight folder (400gsm) to give extra support for the additional content weight.
Printing Options
As with all printed material, adding additional finishes will make your folder stand out compared to a standard folder. The list of options can include, laminations, die cut shapes, spot uv, foiling to name a few. Ask us for more details.
Our personal favourite is the combination of a unique size with additional finishes and a 3mm capacity.
